Call Recording Notice
Last updated September 16, 2026 · Version 2026-09-16
If you called a number that connected you through the Cloned Closer platform, this page explains what happened to your call.
Who we are
Cloned Closer is operated by 2FO Holdings, LLC d/b/a Cloned Closer, a Wyoming limited liability company, 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801. We run a call-routing platform that connects people who asked to speak with a provider, for example by filling out a form or calling an advertised number, to an independent business that offers that product or service. We are not the business you spoke with and we do not sell its products.
What is recorded
Every call that reaches our platform is recorded from the moment it is connected to a business's representative, on two separate audio channels (you and the representative). Before the call is connected you normally hear a recorded notice that the call is recorded; if you do not, the business must tell you at the start of the call. Calls may also be monitored or transcribed, including by automated tools. Some businesses use an optional feature that streams the call audio from the representative's browser to our speech-recognition provider and shows the representative a live transcript and suggested talking points; Cloned Closer does not store that transcript, and it is discarded when the call ends. We do not create voiceprints and do not use your voice to identify you.
Why we record
- To verify that the call happened and how long it lasted, which is how the business is billed.
- To resolve disputes and complaints.
- To audit and train the businesses on our platform.
- To detect fraud.
- To comply with law.
Who can access a recording
- The business that took your call can listen to and download recordings of its own calls.
- Cloned Closer staff can access recordings for the purposes above under our internal access rules; any change staff make to an account is recorded in our audit log.
- Our service providers (telephone-network and hosting providers) store recordings for us.
- We disclose recordings to regulators, courts or law enforcement when the law requires, and we may share the relevant part of a recording with the company that referred your call to resolve a dispute about that call.
How long we keep it
We keep recordings for 365 days after the call and then delete them, unless a dispute, complaint, legal hold or law requires us to keep a recording longer. The business that took your call may keep its own copy under its own retention rules; contact that business about its copy.
Your choices
- If you do not want a call recorded, hang up when you hear the notice or tell the representative as soon as the call begins; we cannot connect an unrecorded call.
- To stop us from connecting future calls from your number and from sharing your information with businesses, use the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in the footer of every page of our websites.
- To ask what information we hold about you, or to ask us to delete or correct it (including a recording), see our Privacy Policy or write to admin@clonedcloser.com with the phone number you called from and the approximate date and time of the call; we will verify that the number is yours before acting.
